Chitrangada Singh gained recognition for her role in the Bollywood film ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ for which she won the Bollywood Movie Award for ‘Best Female Debut’ in 2006. It was her electrifying dance performance in the chart-topping song ‘Aao Raja’ (Gabbar) that made her a dancing sensation and propelled her to instant fame. She later starred in an item number ‘Kafirana’ from the movie ‘Joker’ where she again managed to set the screen ablaze with her scintillating moves. Chitrangada has also featured in a music video titled ‘Saiyaan’ sung by Asees Kaur where her sensual dance moves left her fans in awe.
She has appeared in successful films including the crime thriller ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’, the romantic comedies ‘Desi Boyz’, ‘Baazaar’, the crime thriller ‘Bob Biswas’. She even turned producer with the sports drama ‘Soorma’.
